Cambridge, Massachusetts - January 15, 2006 - Northern Light^®, a provider of custom strategic research portals and enterprise, industry, and Web search engines, announced today that it has added Sheri Larsen and Kerry MacDonald to the management team. Sheri Larsen, Vice President of Client Applications

Ms. Larsen was promoted to Vice President of Client Operations in January of 2006. She joined the founding team of Northern Light in 1996 as Director of Content Integration and was responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Northern Light's premium content collections. During Ms. Larsen's tenure she oversaw the growth of the NorthernLight.com search engine database from its inception to a collection of over 330 million web pages and 28 million multi-media documents aggregated from over 70 traditional, online and real-time content providers. Ms Larsen also served as Director of Product Management for Northern Light, responsible for product management, sales support, market research, collateral creation, and pricing for Northern Light's search services. As Vice President of Client Applications, Ms. Larsen is responsible for the successful delivery of all Northern Light product and service offerings, including project management, rollout and training, and ongoing customer relationship management. Prior to coming to Northern Light, Ms. Larsen managed the operations of the editorial department at EBSCO Publishing developing initiatives to cut costs and increase the production of the creation of full-text articles, abstracts and full-page images of articles from hard copy periodical literature. Ms. Larsen has an MBA from Babson College, and a BA in Literature from Gordon College.

Kerry MacDonald, Vice President of Network Systems

Mr. MacDonald joined Northern Light as Vice President of Network Systems in November, 2005. Mr. MacDonald has over 12 years of experience in building global IT organizations for US corporations. Mr. MacDonald specializes in delivering large IT projects on time and on budget working with a team of highly skilled professionals. Prior to joining Northern Light Mr MacDonald was Director of Network Operations for Vivendi-Universal Games, a $500 million division of Vivendi-Universal where he built and managed all networking infrastructure for the business. Prior to that he was a Director of Global Operations for Cendant Software, a division of Cendant Corporation. In addition, Mr. MacDonald was CTO for Capitol Multimedia, Inc., a public US company.
Mr. MacDonald has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
